The Power of Meditatio

” for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23

“All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6

All have sinned? How do we know we have sinned? What is sin? What does it takes for one to commit sin?

Fall short of the glory of God? What is the glory of God? What is the standard of God? How do we know if we have fallen short of the glory of God? Why does it matter if we have fall short from His glory?

All we like sheep have gone astray? Why are we being compared as a sheep? What do you mean we have gone astray? By what mean we have gone astray?

We have turned, every one, to his own way? What’s wrong of going on our own way? If we are not meant to go on our own way, then which way or whose way shall we follow and turn to? Can we trust the other way?

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all? How does He laid the iniquity of us all? Why does He wanted to do that?

I think by meditating all these questions while we are chewing on GOD’s words will really help us to think, to ponder and to wonder… I learn a lot by asking myself all these questions.

Sometimes it strucks me and stumble me across what’s the answer for the questions.. Sometimes it refreshes me and remind me.. Sometimess it leads me to a deeper understanding of what the passage is actually about, and what God want to speak to me… Sometimes it helps me to look at a greater context by searching the answer..

Meditation is a very important and powerful tool if we were to know God and His Words better..
