TRUST NOT IN MAN BUT GOD!

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord” – Jeremiah 17:5

“ The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” – Jeremiah 17:9

The prophet taught us well that we should not trust in man who has no GOD in his heart and make them as the source of strength, as the prophet explain in Jeremiah 17:9 that Heart is Deceitful and wicked! Who can ever perfectly grasp it?

Even if it appears to be absolutely trustable, people may turn their back on you. Even when it sounds so sincere and real, people may have you deceived!

So why do we want to place our source of strength on this potentially weak and wicked heart of flesh that might disappoint and hurt us??! Why don’t we place our trust and hope on a Perfect, Holy and Pure heart that would NEVA fails and disappoints us??! There is only one such Heart exist  – and it’s GOD!

It doesn’t mean that we should not trust anybody, it’s just we shouldn’t place the center of our life in an imperfect heart like all of us – Human Being, where all of us are sinners and weak as we are just mere human. But God is the only being with a Perfect and Holiest Heart!

Some of us are living a life under the shadow of one individual. The whole structure of our life may just be build upon principles and rules set by an individual which we look up the most. But be warn, they are also just mere Human being and imperfect no matter how good they are! Why not we place our assurance on the best and perfect one – GOD??!!
